Valentia Island Caravan and Camping is a family friendly Park, operated by John and Emma Shanahan. We are situated on The Wild Atlantic Way and just 400m from Knightstown village.
Our Park is nestled in quiet surroundings on the outskirts of Knightstown village, making it a perfect base for exploring the Islands natural beauty and to enjoy a unique Island holiday experience.
Valentia Island is accessible from the mainland, by road bridge from Portmagee and by car ferry from Renard Point, Cahersiveen. The ferry runs from Knightstown Pier to Renard Point. It operates a continuous shuttle service, with a five-minute crossing, 7 days a week from April to October.
Knightstown is the main hub of activity on the Island. The picturesque village offers superb views of Valentia Harbour, Beginish Island and the mainland. Used as the departure point for a variety of boat trips and fishing trips, it also boasts many activities and attractions within walking distance of the Park
