ICEP Europe is the trusted source for online continuing education and professional development for educators and allied professionals who work with children and young people. Founded in 2001, ICEP Europe (formally known as Profexcel) was part of University College Dublin’s Campus Company Development Programme and was the overall winner of the sixth Campus Company Development Programme award in 2001. ICEP Europe developed one of the world’s first online courses on autism in partnership with St Patrick’s College Drumcondra and this initiative was supported and part funded by the Irish Government and the Department of Education and Skills under the National Development Plan.

In 2007, ICEP Europe partnered again with St Patricks, Drumcondra to offer teachers an Online Certificate/Diploma in Special/Inclusive Education. Our university accredited course portfolio has since developed, with the addition of the Advanced Diploma in Professional Development (Adv Dip PD) Inclusive Education, offered in partnership with Queens University Belfast, School of Education, running from 2007 - 2012, and more recently with the Cert HE/Advanced Diploma in Special Education with Leeds Metropolitan University. Newly added this year is the online PG Cert / PG Dip / MA in Special and Additional Learning Needs with the University of East London.

ICEP Europe, provides online education to teachers, psychologists and other professionals in Ireland, UK and internationally. We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Special Education Support Service of the Department of Education and Skills in the Republic of Ireland to support teachers. ICEP Europe’s Applied Behaviour Analysis CPD course is accredited for CPD purposes by The Psychological Society of Ireland. We are also a registered CPD provider with both CPD Scotland and the Training and Development Agency (TDA) in the UK. In 2009, ICEP Europe was delighted to be designated the sole Special Education Support Services (SESS) approved provider of online courses in special educational needs by the Department of Education and Skills.
