Rosegreen Community Development Plan 2.99

Rosegreen is a small village at a cross roads between Cashel, Clerihan, Fethard and Golden residing in the heart of the Golden Vale. It is best known for being home to Ballydoyle Racing Stables, which is widely acknowledged to be the finest training establishment in the world. Rosegreen has a great community spirit enriched by various organisations including the Development Association, the Rosegreen Players, the Tidy Towns, the Soccer Club and the GAA club. Rosegreen Community led by our GAA club has developed a five year strategic Community/GAA plan, which maps out the future direction for our Community/GAA. This is key for all in our community as we aim to build on our past and plan for the future.
A Steering Committee for this plan was formed initially and all our community were invited to a brainstorming session, where up to 300 ideas were generated. There were five focus groups formed by volunteers at the brainstorming session, who took the ideas generated as the basis to formulate the plan.
