Based in Sligo on the West coast of Ireland, Mc G Cakes is run by a qualified pastry chef and confectioner, Brian Mc Gonigle.
Brian previously worked as a ceramic artist in a local pottery, through this work he developed a keen eye for attention to detail and high levels of creativity, focusing attentively on each stage of the process to achieve consistent results every time.
Having worked in local bakeries for the past four years as a baker and confectioner, he decided to set up Mc G Cakes in July 2015 when he saw a gap in the market for high-quality products that had the look, and more importantly the taste.
Brian believes all clients deserve exceptional customer service in this industry and offers that same service to all clients from first contact through to delivery of the project.
