Kerry School of French - French classes and revision courses 2.21

I hold a First Class Honours in French and Italian and a First Class Honours Higher Diploma in Education and I am registered to teach at post-primary level and in further education by the Teaching Council.

I have worked as a teacher of French in post-primary schools in Kerry and Limerick for several years and have worked as both an examiner and appeal examiner of Leaving Certificate Higher Level French with the State Examinations Commission since its foundation in 2003 and before that as an examiner with the Department of Education and Skills.

I offer classes and revision courses in French for Junior and Leaving Certificate students, concentrating on topics of relevance to examinations and skills needed to be successful in the Certificate examinations.

At Junior Certificate level there will be an emphasis on the development of listening skills, as well as developing reading and written ability.

At Leaving Certificate level classes will focus on the development of aural, oral, reading and written skills. Examination technique and guidance on the marking of the examination will also be provided. Oral skill will be assessed regularly and guidance will also be offered on the selection and preparation of a 'document' should the student choose to prepare one for the oral examination.

Grammar will form an integral part of the classes at both Junior and Leaving Certificate level and homework will be set and corrected weekly.
