Keanes of Toonagh Car Sales was founded by Ian Keane as a result of his growing interest in vintage cars and farm machinery while in secondary school. From humble beginnings buying and selling one at a time he quickly gained a reputation for supplying quality cars at affordable prices among his neighbours and friends and now holds a large collection of quality used vehicles in stock.

Now an academic by profession Dr Ian Ó Catháin still has a passion for cars and claims that the car sales is only a hobby! Although the business has grown, personal attention and customer satisfaction remain at its very core. A large number of cars sold are repeat business and through word of mouth which according to Ian is the best advertising of all. As he says “you are only as good as the last car you sell”.

Ian believes that by keeping operating costs to a minimum he is able to offer quality cars without the main dealer price tag.
