Day 1: Sunday – Arrival at your 4 Star Irish Country Manor

Arrival at your selected 4 Star Accommodation, After freshening up Enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea in the drawing room and then relax in the comfort of your room or take a stroll in the expansive gardens.
Day 2: Monday - The JFK Emigrant Trail (expert tour guide and vehicle)

In the morning after breakfast, you will visit The Emigrant Flame in New Ross, then you will board The Dunbrody Famine Ship and Irish Emigrant Experience where you will be transported to the 1840’s, the time of the Irish Potato Famine. After a break for lunch, you will visit The Kennedy Homestead the ancestral home of President John F Kennedy. Later in the afternoon you will enjoy a customary pony and trap excursion through The JFK Memorial Park Following light refreshments you have almost 2 hours to wander and explore the Arboretum on foot. This plant collection of international standing covers 252 hectares and will interest amateur gardeners, horticulturalists or those just wishing to enjoy the fresh Irish air.
Day 3: Tuesday - A Tale of Two Abbeys (expert guide and vehicle)

Today you will discover ancient architecture, and step into the footprints of 12th century monks and noble 16th century Anglo-Norman families, In the morning, you will tour Dunbrody Abbey exploring the ancient ruins followed by a visit to the Dunbrody Visitors Centre and Maze where after refreshments you can take your chances at finding your way through the stunning yew maze and enjoy the picturesque grounds of Dunbrody Castle.

After Lunch you will visit Tintern Abbey with a guided tour filled with remarkable details including the involvement of the Colclough family in The 1798 Irish Rebellion. Later in the afternoon you can enjoy the tranquility of Colclough Walled Gardens and the woodland trails that surround Tintern.
Day 4: Wednesday - The Islands and the Quay (expert guide and vehicle)

Today we will head south to the traditional Irish fishing village of Kilmore Quay.

Climb aboard a boat trip to the privately owned Saltee Islands where we will indulge in a picnic lunch. These are among the ancient islands of Europe, aged between 600 and 2000 million years old. We will wade through the shallow waters from our boat to explore this major bird sanctuary and spend the day discovering all the Great Saltee has to offer. Here in Ireland’s largest bird reserve we expect to see cormorants, guillemots, puffins and razorbills. Depending on the time of year we will also encounter the less feathered seal colony that breed here.

Late in the afternoon we will return to the marina at Kilmore Quay and enjoy dinner in one of the wonderful seafood restaurants that fill the village. Then ramble if you wish through the quaint streets adorned with traditional thatched roofs or take a stroll to the memorial garden overlooking Forlorn Point before meeting up with your driver and returning to your accommodation.
Day 5: Thursday - Knights and Frights (expert guide and vehicle)

Your morning starts with a trip to historic Ballyhack Castle You will enjoy an informative guided tour of the castle, including the history of the Knights Templar and Knights Hospitallers two great military orders founded at the beginning of the 12th century at the time of the Crusades, and their role in the area. You will visit its dungeon, view the murder hole and view its effigies and oratory. We will move on to Fethard-on-Sea where you will see the attractive Fethard Castle.

We will lunch in Fethard-on Sea and then a treat for the paranormal enthusiasts, if you dare you will journey inside Ireland’s Most Haunted House Loftus Hall will you be met by the mysterious visitor with the cloven hoof or have chills down your spine in the Tapestry room?

Late in the afternoon the archeologists and historians among you can view what remains of the original church walls from the 12th century Knights Templar by completing the tour-day at Templetown Church ruins.
Day 6: Friday - Hook's Historic Light (expert guide and vehicle)

Today you will start your morning where the story of Hook’s Historic Light begins; we will visit the ancient holy site of Churchtown, followed by a stop at the industrious Hook Limekiln to view the kiln and the blowholes. In the distance you will see the Lighthouse and this spot is a great vantage point for photographs of the lighthouse. You will then tour the Oldest Operational Lighthouse in the World Hook Lighthouse before enjoying a lunch in the café at this location.

In the afternoon we will head out onto the headland to hunt for fossils, perhaps here you will find the perfect souvenir of you vacation. We will then travel to the other side of the headland to the village of Slade where guests can enjoy the charm of a place where time has stood still, the small but perfectly formed Slade Castle and working pier. We will finish off our tour-day with a walk on the stunning Carnivan Beach where you can view the striking Martello Tower before returning to your accommodation.
Day 7: Saturday - A Free Day for you to enjoy at your leisure
