Situated close to Bath and Bristol and nestled in a scenic valley, Dyrham Park comprises 270 acres of ancient deer parkland, the stunning 17th-century home of William Blathwayt and a 21st-century garden with echoes of the past.

The house had its roof replaced in a £3.8m project in 2015/16 and is currently in a state of transformation.

The outdoors is home to a herd of wild fallow deer, two children's play areas, family trail and plenty of walks. It is open daily 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm).

Dogs are not permitted in the main parkland due to the herd of wild fallow deer, but there is a large (30 acres) dog walking area in the wildflower meadow and woodland copse near the car park where you are welcome to walk your dog.
