I've always been arty, but never really took time out to do anything with my skills. When I was getting married I began looking for things for my big day that I just couldn't find. That's when I decided I was going to start making stuff. I wanted the big day fun, quirky and unique. Something that suited me and my hubbies personalities and a little bit out of the ordinary.

Now I never realised when I started out organising the wedding just how how much time and effort wedding planning was going to take and boy did it take a while. But I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and it totally paid off.

After the wedding was over, my friends kept telling me I was a natural at wedding planning and decorating and that I should really do something in that field, so I decided to set up Designed by Suzie. Taking my creative aspects of my wedding and making them into a little business.

Designed by Suzie started off as me making wedding invitations, then quickly grew into much more, framed baby gifts, wedding stationary, paper decorations and greeting cards. Then I started making cards for my doggie friends (I have plenty being a dog mother of two beautiful pups) and there I found my real love :)

I now collaborate with The Pet Photographer aka Miche my pawsome pal. Together we turn Miche's STUNNING photos into greeting cards, graphics and are currently looking into new items for 2018, so watch this space.
