On June Bank holiday weekend, music, art and tradition will flow through the streets of Carrick-On-Suir yet again as The Clancy Brothers Music and Arts festival takes place.

The festival honours the musical legacy of the influential Irish folk music group of the 1960s, ‘The Clancy Brothers’ whose home town was Carrick-On-Suir and who are credited with popularising Irish traditional music in the United States. The brothers recorded dozens of albums together as, ‘The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem’. They were a primary influence on a young Bob Dylan and on many other emerging artists and their legacy is celebrated at their hometown annual festival.

Now in its 10th year The Clancy Brothers Music and Arts Festival celebrates local and international talent each year. This year's headline acts includes The High Kings, Donal Clancy, Robbie O' Connell and Eleanor McEvoy

The Festival embraces the local community and showcases the local exceptional talent in performing, visual & multi-disciplinary arts. As well as a variety of fun and entertaining ticketed events, there are also amazing free family fun days & extraordinary sporting events.

Carrick-on-Suir boasts so much talent for a small community and The Clancy Festival is the perfect platform from which to showcase local talent as well as national and international artists. The festival is run completely on a volunteer basis.
