CL Meats 3.15

CL Meats is a family run butchers conveniently located just of the Kinsale road roundabout opposite Harvey Normans. Mark O'Sullivan, proprietor of CL Meats comes from a long line of knowledgeable butchers and with his shop continuing a long tradition of family history in the butchering trade. Mark's great grandfather started his abattoir and retail shops in Carlow in the early 1900's. His grandfather Michael Byrne and grandmother Kathleen Byrne settled in Cork after their wedding and opened their flagship shop at 45 Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork in 1930.

Mark opened his shop at Kinsale Road in July 1994 and is committed to providing top quality beef, lamb, pork, bacon and poultry to the public at very competitive prices. At CL Meats we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our first class service. Strict procedures are followed including and maintaining a high standard of hygiene, complaint to EU regulations.

At CL Meats we are fully aware that people are becoming far more knowledgeable about their food, they want fresh, local top quality products at affordable prices. All products at CL Meats are cut fresh on site and customers can depend on our butchers to give them the quality meat and cuts they require.

We are buying our products fresh from local farmers and factories with no "middle man" so the quality of our product is maintained from farm to fork. We will provide special offers on home freezing, private function including christenings, birthday's and communions. We can supply you with all your fresh or cooked meats, coleslaw, potato salad etc. and deliver it to you if required.
